The Longreach is one of those unmistakably Rae & Rue pieces — bold, detailed and made slowly by hand. A beautifully individual panel of brown and cream hair-on hide forms the body of the bag, framed in warm cognac leather and rows of individually set aged brass rivets.
Sweeping hand-tooled leather panels sit across the top, with further tooling running through the centre straps and adjustable shoulder strap. Around the curved edge, individually cut and riveted leather tabs create the distinctive scalloped finish, while hand-tooled leather feathers add another layer of detail to an already special piece.
The bag can be carried from the shorter leather handle or worn using the longer adjustable tooled strap. Inside, the leather has been left beautifully raw, exposing the warm suede side of the hide, with separate internal compartments for keeping everyday essentials organised.
The Longreach has never been previously carried. It comes from the Rae & Rue archive and has been used as a branding and photography piece over the years.
