The Nundle is a statement piece in every sense.
Generously sized and made entirely by hand, she brings together some of the details I love most about traditional leatherwork: natural vegetable-tanned leather, extensive hand tooling, exposed construction and an unapologetic amount of antiqued brass rivets.
Her rounded body is constructed with individually riveted leather tabs wrapping around the sides and base. A large layered front panel is framed with antiqued brass rivets and rows of hand-tooled detailing, with further tooling continuing around the body and onto her wide shoulder straps.
The Nundle has been left in her natural leather colour rather than dyed, allowing the hide to change completely with use. She has been finished with a nourishing leather balm to provide some protection while still allowing the leather to develop its natural patina. With sunlight, handling and everyday use, her pale natural tones will gradually deepen through honey and caramel, becoming richer and more individual with age

The hide carries a naturally occurring scar from long before the leather ever reached my workbench. Rather than cutting around it or trying to disguise it, I chose to leave it visible. These natural markings aren’t flaws. They tell the story of where the leather has come from and are part of what makes working with genuine leather so special.
As The Nundle develops her patina, that scar will remain part of her character alongside all the new marks and changes she gathers through years of being carried.
The Nundle is a genuinely substantial tote with plenty of room for everyday essentials and then some. Her wide leather straps are designed to sit comfortably over the shoulder, while her open tote construction keeps her practical despite all that detail.
No two hides are identical, and this combination of natural markings, tooling and hand construction belongs to this bag alone.
